Thirty years of practice as a naval architect, including fifteen years as
a Professor of Naval Architecture at Webb Institute, Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT), and the University of New Orleans.

cause of loss or damage in maritime casualties involving circumstances
such as:
Structural damage due to heavy weather,
design defects, collision, corrosion, and/or fatigue
Cargo loss or damage due to heavy
weather and/or improper stowage
